    Function IsLoopbackIP

    • Determines whether the given IP address is a loopback address.

      Supports both IPv4 and IPv6 loopback addresses, including:

      • IPv4 loopback (e.g., 127.0.0.1)
      • IPv6 loopback (::1)
      • IPv6 link-local addresses with zone index (e.g., fe80::1%eth0)
      • IPv4-mapped IPv6 loopback (::ffff:127.0.0.1)

      Parameters

      • ip: string

        The IP address to check.

      Returns boolean

      true if the IP address is a loopback address, otherwise false.
